Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking personnel to handle proximate chemistry and microbiology labs with independence. The role involves testing, reporting, and maintaining stock for testing kits and solutions within the microb section.

You will lead micro sampling for new pathogen or disease issues and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping, including results from internal and third-party labs. Maintain sample inventory and coordinate testing timelines with the Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate proximate chemistry and microbiology labs independently.
• Experience in testing and reporting for microb lab.
• Ability to manage and report lab results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Handle, test and report for microb lab; maintain testing stock and materials.

Can handle proximate (chemistry lab), microbiology lab independently.

Responsible for handling, testing & reporting for microb lab, upkeep stock for testing kit & solution for this section. Leading for microb sampling if have any new pathogen/disease issue.

• Responsible for arranging swab test & air monitoring to ensure good housekeeping is in place.

Responsible for fibre analysis. Support other proximate tests (Protein, Fat, FFA, Moisture, ash) when necessary. Responsible for verifying results for proximate analysis (NIR & wet chem).

• Document controller for all documented files. Upkeep original/obsolete document & record, maintain document/record shelf life in place and retrievable.

Reporting results of the incoming materials as responsible to announce on-hold and release of item in production line as advised by Manager, Quality/ Nutrition Director. Issue NC for all related raw materials, packaging materials & labelling to Supply Chain/Supplier/Manufacturer

To monitor & update all the test reports (internal/external lab test) in excel file and report any discrepancies/out of specification, also to follow up the results from 3rd party lab based on their lead time.

Coordinate of retain sample/ new raw materials sample inventory and upkeep of lab storage room.

Updating/preparing Raw Materials and Packaging Materials Specification based on supplier technical sheet, Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Assist in conducting sensory evaluation with R&D team.
