Job summary

F&B Nutrition Sdn. Bhd. in Selangor is seeking a laboratory assistant to support pilot, production, and commercial trials. You will prepare materials, conduct basic tests, and record results, ensuring GMP standards are met and records are properly filed.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of lab experience or FMCG exposure, with basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and laboratory practices, supported by SPM or a Diploma/certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM holder, Diploma or Certificate in related disciplines.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience or FMCG business is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food processing and laboratory practices.
• Basic understanding of GMP, HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment handling and sample preparation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting pilot trials, production trials and commercial trial activities.
• Prepare raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and equipment required for laboratory work and trials.
• Perform basic laboratory testing and record analytical results as instructed.
• Assist in monitoring shelf-life studies and maintain sample retention records.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain laboratory equipment, utensils and work areas in accordance with GMP requirements.
• Ensure all laboratory records, formulations and trial documents are updated and filed accurately.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory, stock records and sample storage.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior.
