Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing environment.
• Mandarin language preferred for liaison with China Plant.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance and capability.
• Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier benchmarking and market analysis.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and contractual agreements.
• Achieve annual cost reduction and cost avoidance targets and analyze cost structures for optimization.
• Align procurement activities with company objectives and market trends.
• Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and monitor deliveries; manage inventory with planning teams.
• Handle supplier performance issues related to delivery delays or quality.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legal and contractual requirements; manage contracts and supplier agreements.
• Ensure PPAP and other quality requirements are met; track procurement metrics.

Job description

Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery performance and capability.

Develop and maintain long‑term supplier relationships and performance improvement plans.

Conduct supplier benchmarking and market analysis.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and contractual agreements.

Achieve annual cost reduction and cost avoidance targets. Analyze cost structures and propose cost optimization strategies.

Align procurement activities with company objectives and market trends.

Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and follow-up on deliveries. Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with planning teams.

Handle supplier performance issues related to delivery delays or quality.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal and contractual requirements. Manage documentation such as contracts, purchase orders and supplier agreements.

Ensure compliance with PPAP and other quality requirements.

Track procurement metrics and recommend improvements. Provide accurate and complete personal information and documentation as required to comply with applicable governmental laws, statutory regulations and company policies

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior or management from time to time, in line with business needs and organisational objectives.

Requirements :

Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience in manufacturing environment.

Preferred Mandarin Speaker which needs to liaise with China Plant.

Understanding of sourcing strategies and supplier management

Knowledge of PPAP and quality systems (preferred)

Familiarity with ERP system (SAP preferred)

Strong data analysis and cost evaluation skills
