Job summary

Toll Integrated Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to manage shipments from arrival to final delivery, coordinating with customers, overseas offices, carriers, customs and transport partners.

You will also prepare documents, monitor vessel arrivals and delivery status, and assist with customs clearance and billing. This role requires strong multitasking, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or ocean import is preferred.
• Good knowledge of ocean freight and import processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

About the Role

Join our team and be part of the end-to-end ocean import operation. You will work closely with customers, overseas offices, carriers, customs teams and transport partners to ensure shipments are cleared and delivered smoothly and on time.

What You’ll Do

Manage ocean import shipments from arrival to final delivery.

Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, carriers, customs and transport partners.

Prepare shipping documents and arrival notifications.

Monitor vessel arrivals, container availability, free time and delivery status.

Coordinate customs clearance and delivery arrangements.

Follow up on delays, documentation issues and shipment exceptions.

Keep shipment information and milestones updated accurately.

Support billing and monitor operational costs.

Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Work closely with Sales, Operations, Customs, Billing and Finance teams.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or ocean import is preferred.

Good knowledge of ocean freight and import processes.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good coordination, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented and organised.

Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is an advantage.
