About the role

Klinik I Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support within our clinical environment. As a Nurse/Medical Assistant, you will be at the forefront of patient interactions, ensuring comfort, safety and clinical excellence whilst supporting our medical professionals in providing exceptional healthcare services to our community.

What you'll be doing

• Providing direct patient care, including vital signs monitoring, phlebotomy, vaccination and wound dressing
• Assisting healthcare practitioners during medical examinations and minor procedures
• Preparing patient treatment areas and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for use
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with clinical protocols
• Sterilizing and maintaining medical equipment and instruments according to established infection control standards
• Contributing to a positive team environment through effective collaboration with healthcare staff

What we're looking for

• A recognised nursing or medical assistant qualification, certificate or diploma relevant to the healthcare industry
• Current registration or licensure as a Nurse or Medical Assistant with the appropriate regulatory body
• Proven experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families and healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail and accuracy when recording patient information and maintaining medical records
• Compassion, empathy and a patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and follow clinical instructions
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical best practices
