• Valid nursing qualification and registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body in Malaysia.
• Proven experience in general medical and surgical nursing settings.
• Strong clinical nursing skills including patient assessment, medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to build rapport with diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care including assessment, monitoring and documentation of vital signs and patient health status.
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
• Preparing patients for examinations and procedures, including surgical preparations.
• Supporting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures and minor operations.
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation.
• Responding to patient calls and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic clinical environment in compliance with infection control standards.
• Educating patients about their health conditions, treatment plans and post-operative care.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join the team at Dr Farid Medical Clinic in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. • Desirable: Experience in a private clinic or outpatient setting
