Job summary

Maybank is seeking an energetic NTB-focused commercial banking professional to drive new-to-bank current accounts and total deposit growth in the commercial segment. You will hunt NTB clients and deepen relationships with mid-sized corporate customers, while expanding the bank's merchant services portfolio and digital solutions.

The role requires strong sales, relationship management and regulatory awareness to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) clients in banking or financial services.
• Experience in managing and growing deposit portfolios.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proactive business development approach.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of deposit products and NTB client strategies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Dynamic, motivated and adept at identifying growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Acquire NTB commercial Current Accounts and drive NTB deposit growth in the commercial segment.
• Manage relationships with commercial clients with ADB RM300K–RM1M and deepen engagement.
• Promote new active merchant signups for card services to grow the merchant portfolio.
• Cross-sell deposit products such as Work+ and Digital banking solutions to increase wallet share.
• Collaborate with CBCs and branches to onboard cash management solutions for commercial clients.
• Attract new FX customers and grow M2E and M2U metrics in the business segment.
• Implement salary crediting programs for individual and corporate clients, including Work+ Company NOC.
