UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an NPI Process Engineer to lead mechanical process development across major precision projects, bridging product design and manufacturing.
You will design, build, and test new mechanical process systems; develop methods to improve test stand quality; and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Strong CAD with SolidWorks and reading drawings are essential.
We are seeking a driven and technical NPI Process Engineer to lead mechanical process development across major precision engineering projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product design and full-scale manufacturing—building test systems, refining operational methods, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a team's mechanical engineer for major precision engineering development projects or multiple simultaneous projects. Ensure that engineering design activities are coordinated per the development procedure.
Work closely with stakeholder to understand product needs, cost models and areas for improvement.
Design, construct, shakedown and operate new mechanical process test systems.
Development of new processes and/or operational methods improving the quality of test stand operations and performance.
Ability to work independently, resolve technical and manufacturing issues without detailed direction, and work as a part of a team
Provide technical support and assist in the resolution of manufacturing problems as required.
Job Requirements:-
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification.
At least 2 to 3 years experience in CAD using software SolidWorks.
Able to read & interpret technical drawings.
Positive attitude, ability to work in a team and willingness to learn.
Possess excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills
