Job summary

Thunder Print Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineering-focused candidate in Malaysia to support new product development and packaging improvements. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with an advantage for those with NPI, manufacturing, or product development experience.

You'll collaborate with Production and Quality teams, manage mockups and packaging-related projects, and provide technical input on artwork and structures to meet internal and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Graphic Design.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with NPI, manufacturing, production or process engineering experience have an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow and product development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of design software is a plus.
• Willing to learn and take initiative; able to work with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance mock-ups and packaging to meet customer requirements and internal capability.
• Advise sales on any quality or technical issues related to packaging.
• Manage and execute project studies (product development, enhancements, improvements).
• Assist pilot tests from start to handover between NPI and Operations.
• Provide technical comments on packaging, artwork and structures.

Job description

Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Graphic Design or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in NPI, manufacturing, production engineering, or process engineering or product development will have an added advantage.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow and product development.

Strong coordination, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign/Coreldraw or similar software will be an added advantage.

Willing to learn and take initiative, with a strong interest in new product development.

Able to work closely with Production, Quality team and other departments to support successful product launches.

Important Note : Applicants must be willing to work at our current location in Taman Ria Jaya (Sungai Petani) and at our future location in Gurun.

What You’ll Do :

To manage and enhance mock up and packaging related matter by ensuring it meets both customer's requirement and application, and also in-house capability. To advice sales accordingly on any quality or technical issue raised pertaining to packaging related matter.

To manage and execute project study request as assigned (product development, product enhancement, improvement project, work flow synchronization)

To assist pilot test is monitored closely from initial stage till project hand shake between NPI and Operations or related department.

To provide technical comment and advice on packaging related matter - artwork, structure to meet internal capability and external expectation.
