Job summary

JAC Recruitment International in Penang invites an experienced NPI Engineer to lead new product introductions from concept to production at our client site in Juru / Penang Science Park.

You will interpret drawings, support on-site rework, manage FA/FAIR, and drive cost, ECN, and PFMEA activities for awarded parts, while sourcing components and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' working experience, preferably with die casting or sheet metal processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and able to interpret 2D/3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze technical drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide on-site support for customer rework activities.
• Follow up on First Article (FA) parts and prepare FAIR.
• Address customer complaints and deliver service solutions.
• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings as required.
• Prepare RFQ documents.
• Generate ECN for revision updates.
• Develop costing for awarded parts and update item sourcing information.
• Prepare Technical Queries (TQ), Process Control Plans (PCP), and PFMEA for awarded parts.
• Source new items, parts, and materials as needed.
• Conduct cost reviews and implement necessary revisions.
