Job summary

JAC Recruitment International invites applications for an NPI Engineer in Malaysia. The role focuses on coordinating New Product Introductions from development to production, collaborating across departments to ensure successful launches and manufacturing excellence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with 1–2 years of NPI experience in manufacturing or relevant internships. PCBA/electronics exposure is a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of NPI engineer experience in manufacturing preferred; interns welcome.
• Exposure to PCBA/electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support transfer of new products from development into mass production.
• Analyze customer drawings and BOMs for manufacturability and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (work instructions, modification records, manuals).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for NPI activities and project execution.

Our Client Company is a well-established manufacturer specializing in electrical and electronics components manufacturing, the organization is hiring for NPI Engineer to coordinate in new products from development into production. The role involves collaborating across departments and contributing to process improvements that support successful product launches and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the transfer and implementation of new products from the development stage into mass production while meeting planned timelines.
• Analyze customer drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure manufacturability and efficient production processes.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including work instructions, modification records, and technical manuals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and successful project execution.
• Conduct product verification through testing, inspections, and data analysis to evaluate performance and quality.
• Prepare engineering reports and provide insights based on product performance trends and findings.

Requirements

• Possesses Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience as NPI Engineer in manufacturing industry; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Exposure in PCBA / Electronics industry would be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication abilities to coordinate with various relevant departments.
