Job summary
MFG Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks an experienced NPI/Process Engineer to lead new product introductions from prototype through pilot runs to mass production.
You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality and other engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes, develop work instructions, and ensure on-time product transfers while maintaining quality and cost targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NPI, process engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot run and production transfer.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling and production equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in connector/semiconductor manufacturing and knowledge are advantages.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI activities from prototype development through pilot run and mass production.
- Review product specifications, drawings and manufacturing requirements to ensure production readiness.

- Prepare NPI documentation, reports and engineering records.
- Monitor NPI progress and ensure timely completion according to project schedule.
- Support smooth transfer of new products from NPI to mass production.
