Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead NPI and manufacturing process programs. You will drive feasibility, characterization, qualification, and DOE studies to optimize new products from concept to production.

With 6–8 years in a high-paced manufacturing environment, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and push yield, quality and cost-saving initiatives while updating process documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical/electronic/mechanical/mechatronics engineering or related fields.
• 6–8 years of experience, including 4–6 years in manufacturing process in a high-paced environment.
• Experience with NPI, technical program management, and assembly process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support product/NPI feasibility, characterization and qualification.
• Plan and conduct DOE and optimization for evaluation studies.
• Initiate continuous improvement projects and process optimization.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule inputs and adjust timelines.
• Communicate build timelines and progress to customers.
• Drive yield, quality and productivity improvement.
• Update documentation for process changes.
• Drive process cost saving and simplification projects.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Support product/product NPI in feasibility, characterization and qualification.
• Manage to conduct DOE and optimization for evaluation study.
• Initiate/implement continuous improvement projects, process optimization and characterization for continual improvement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for scheduling and adjust timelines as needed to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate to customer on the engineering build timeline and progress.
• Keep track and maintain on all engineering work details.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments to the schedule as necessary.
• Program Management of new products introduction.
• Drive yield, quality and productivity improvement program.
• Update and generate documentation for process-related changes.
• Drive process cost saving and simplification projects
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical/ electronic/ mechanical/ mechatronics engineering or other related engineering courses.
• 6-8 years’ or above of work experience including 4-6 years’ manufacturing process expertise experience in a high paced environment.
• Required skill(s): NPI, technical program management, assembly process engineering, process improvement & etc.
