Job summary

Upright Talent seeks a skilled professional in Johor Bahru to manage RFQ costing and support pricing proposals in the injection moulding sector. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in BOM management and costing, preferably within plastic parts manufacturing. Qualifications

• Practical experience in costing including BOM and RFQ.
• Knowledge of injection moulding industry and exposure to NPI.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQ costing including technical review and cost breakdown.
• Work with Sales, Engineering, and Sourcing on RFQ submission.
• Review supplier quotes and prepare pricing proposals.
• Analyse cost and support pricing updates and adjustments.
• Act as link between Engineering and Sales for pricing accuracy.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQ costing, including technical review and cost breakdown
• Work with Sales, Engineering, and Sourcing on RFQ submission
• Review supplier quotes and prepare pricing proposals
• Analyse cost and support pricing updates and adjustments
• Act as link between Engineering and Sales for pricing accuracy
• Create and update BOM in ERP system
• Support NPI and ECN, including BOM and drawing updates
• Maintain document control and NPI gate review process
• Support customer audits and prepare required documents
• Organize program documents and shared folders
• Support production BOM updates and ad-hoc tasks

Ideal Candidates

• Practical experience in Costing including BOM and RFQ
• Injection Moulding industry knowledge with NPI exposure
• Experience in costing, preferably in plastic parts industry
• Knowledge of RFQ, BOM, ERP system and engineering drawings
• Familiar with NPI, APQP, FMEA, and IATF 16949 is an advantage
• Able to read technical drawings, GD&T is a plus
