Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd. is seeking a NOC Monitoring Engineer / Network Operations Support with 1–3 years of experience. Fresh graduates with relevant foundational knowledge are welcome.

The position operates on 12-hour rotating shifts (4 days on, 4 days off) and carries a 12-month contract with potential extension. No visa sponsorship is available; valid work rights in Malaysia are required. The role involves monitoring network assets, responding to alerts, performing Level 1/1.5

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and application services using monitoring and management tools.

NOC Monitoring Engineer / Network Operations Support

Experience: 1–3 years (Fresh graduates with relevant foundational knowledge are welcome)

Contract Duration: 12 Months & extendable

Work Eligibility: No Visa Sponsorship Available. Applicants must have valid work rights in Malaysia.

Shift Requirement: 12-hour rotating shifts, following a schedule of 4 working days followed by 4 days off.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and application services using monitoring and management tools.
• Respond to alerts, alarms, and incidents identified by monitoring systems.
• Perform Level 1 / Level 1.5 troubleshooting and resolve issues within agreed SLAs and standard operating procedures.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to Level 2 / Level 3 support teams when required.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely incident resolution.
• Execute scheduled operational routines and perform system health checks.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of networks, servers, and operating systems.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts (4 days on, 4 days off).

Added Advantages

• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certifications.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and VPN.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Familiarity with OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and MPLS.
• Basic knowledge of firewalls, network security, and network performance analysis.
