Job summary

WisunoFX in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a network security specialist to design, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN and wireless networks. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust security controls across the infrastructure.

The role requires a Master’s degree and strong Linux, DB, and security tool knowledge, with preferred experience in HA, containers, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong CS foundation; Linux proficiency and basic DB knowledge (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of security tech and detection principles; log analysis skills.
• Experience with security products (firewalls, honeypots, WAF, DDoS protection).
• Nice to have HA, containers, big data, monitoring, and cloud experience.
• Strong problem solving and fault-detection capabilities.

Job Requirement

• The position requires at least a Master’s degree in relevant field.
• Possess a solid foundation in computer science,be familiar with the Linux operating system and common commands,and have a strong understanding of and basic operations–knowledge for databases such as MySQL,MongoDB,and Redis.
• Familiar with mainstream security technologies and prevention methods,understand the working principles of various detection techniques,able to analyze alarm logs from security devices,identify security risks and incidents from logs,and possess the ability to analyze and handle security events.
• Has extensive practical experience with open-source and commercial security detection and defense products(such as honeypots,firewalls,WAF,DDoS protection,situational awareness platforms,etc).
• Candidates with experience in high availability,containers,databases,big data,data security,and monitoring are preferred.
• Candidates with experience in performance analysis,build and compilation,capacity planning,cloud implementation,and fault detection and resolution are preferred.
