Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd, established since 2012, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network and telephony infrastructure across regional operations in Malaysia.

The role requires hands-on expertise with TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VPN, firewalls, and telephony platforms such as Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams Telephony, Amazon Connect, and Avaya/Genesys. ITSM experience (ServiceNow) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• 3–5 years of senior network/telephony experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing/switching, VPN and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM, Teams Telephony, Amazon Connect and Avaya/Genesys.
• Familiarity with SIP, PRI, VoIP and network monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support and maintenance for enterprise network and telephony infrastructure (LAN/WAN, wireless, voice).
• Troubleshoot incidents to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Manage and implement changes to network/telephony systems per change management.
• Drive continuous improvements for reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support shared or managed services.
• Use ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network and telephony infrastructure across regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support and maintenance for enterprise network and telephony infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and voice platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to network and telephony services, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Manage and implement changes to network and telephony systems in accordance with change management processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance network reliability, security, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support shared services and managed services environments.
• Utilize ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management activities.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in network and/or telephony support operations at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing & Switching, VPN, and firewall technologies.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams Telephony, Amazon Connect, and/or Avaya/Genesys platforms.
• Familiarity with SIP, PRI, VoIP, and network monitoring tools.
• Ability to provide advanced support and maintenance for enterprise network and telephony infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and voice platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to network and telephony services, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Ability to manage and implement changes to network and telephony systems in accordance with change management processes.
