Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd, established since 2012, seeks a Software Developer to build, maintain, and enhance in-house business apps within a manufacturing setting in Labuan, Malaysia. You will support system integrations and deliver practical IT solutions for enterprise users.

Work on APIs and ERP integrations using C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP and JavaScript, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
Hands-on experience with C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript.
Relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.
Understanding of software development, debugging and support.
ERP exposure (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance in-house business applications.
Design, develop, test, debug and implement software solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications, support system integrations, and deliver practical IT solutions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications to meet organisational needs.
Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programmes.
Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
Collaborate with users and business departments to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to users.
Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, ERP systems, and other business platforms.
Work with APIs and system interfaces to support data exchange between applications.
Support database maintenance and application-related data requirements.
Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user guides, and application documentation.
Ensure applications comply with internal IT standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
Participate in application enhancements, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: C#, .NET / ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript.
Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
Understanding of software development, debugging, and application support.
Hands-on experience with enterprise applications and business systems.
Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work with users from different departments.
Ability to work independently as well as within an IT team.

Nice-to-have:

Fresh graduates with strong programming skills and relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply.
Experience in API development, web applications, or system integration.
Experience supporting applications within a manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environment.
