Job summary

CTC Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a technical pre-sales network architect with strong knowledge of Software Defined Networking, security, and data center network virtualization to design enterprise solutions.

You will study customer requirements, architect infrastructure, assist in bidding (BOM, quotations), coordinate with partners, and present solutions with proofs of concept, ensuring end-to-end integration with support services.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalence.
• Minimum 1 year of Network Architect/Presales experience.
• Working experience in Cisco networking environment with hands-on LAN switches/routers/firewalls.
• Cisco/Huawei/Aruba certifications are an added advantage.
• Good English communication and proposal writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support with design knowledge of SDN, security and data center virtualization.
• Study, analyze and architect infrastructure solutions per customer requirements.
• Assist bidding including BOM, quotation, and partner coordination on technical aspects.
• Lead solution verifications, proposal write-ups and customer presentations.

Job description

• Provide technical pre-sales support in articulating design with good product knowledge of Software Defined Networking, Security and Data Center Network Virtualization.
• To study, analyze, integrate, architect infrastructure solution according to customer’s business, technical and operational requirement.
• Assists in bidding efforts including solution architecting, preparation of BOM & quotation, liaising with partner/principal on technical aspects, solution verifications, proposal write-up, customer presentations, clarifications, proof of concepts and other related activities.
• Work with client, vendors and internal team and responsible for end-to-end integration and design
• Incorporate with support services and managed services ideas into proposal.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solution and quickly lean new or unfamiliar technology
• Knowledge of networking technologies (LAN, Wireless, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP etc.)
• Knowledge of network & application monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of traffic optimization and emerging SDN solution
• Knowledge of Cisco/Aruba/Huawei/ATI/H3C networking hardware and OS
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Good documentation and proposal writing skills
• Good inter-personal and communications skill with all levels
• Self-motivated, self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to work under tight schedule to meet stringent project timeline
• Possess own transport
• Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalence
