Job summary

ONE POINT ONE SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome guests and manage check-ins and reservations.

You will communicate in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English, coordinate with housekeeping, handle inquiries, and keep records using Microsoft Office. Prior hospitality or guest-service experience is an advantage.

This role requires a professional attitude, strong organizational skills and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English communication abilities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in front desk, hotel, Airbnb or customer service is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hotel or property management systems is an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Friendly, responsible and professional attitude.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Manage room reservations, room assignments and guest records.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests and complaints through phone calls and face-to-face communication.
• Communicate effectively with guests in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Record and update guest information, bookings and payments using Microsoft Office and WhatsApp.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform general administrative duties, including photocopying, filing and data entry.
• Keep the front desk area clean, tidy and organized at all times.
• Follow company SOPs and service standards to ensure a consistent level of service.
