Job summary

Smart Legacy Sdn Bhd is seeking a Leasing / Business Development Executive to drive tenant acquisition and growth across our 14 F&B outlets in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. You will own the leasing process from outreach to renewals and build a robust pipeline of brand partners.

The role demands a degree in business-related field, at least 3 years in leasing or B2B sales in F&B/retail, and strong negotiation, communication, and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Property or related field.
• At least 3 years in leasing, business development or B2B sales within F&B/retail.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Solid commercial insight and understanding of retail/F&B operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently across multiple outlets.
• Willingness to travel within Klang Valley and Johor Bahru; owns transport.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Source opportunities and engage potential F&B brands to expand tenant mix.
• Oversee leasing processes from initiation to renewal.
• Build and maintain relationships with tenants and partners.
• Lead deal negotiations ensuring win-win outcomes.
• Strategize tenant mix to boost footfall and sales.
• Collaborate with operations for tenant onboarding and setup.
• Monitor tenant performance and occupancy rates.
• Conduct market research on trends, competitors and rent benchmarks.
