Job summary

Mason & Co. is seeking a Leasing Business Development Manager to grow and manage a multi-location F&B portfolio in shopping malls and commercial developments in Malaysia. You will source new tenants, lead negotiations, and drive occupancy and revenue across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes end-to-end leasing, strong relationships with operators, and strategic expansion to maximize portfolio performance and occupancy levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Property Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in leasing, business development, commercial sales, property, F&B, or retail.
• Strong track record in new business development, tenant acquisition, or commercial negotiations.
• Experience managing relationships with F&B operators, brands, retailers, or business owners is highly advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Comfortable managing both new business development and existing tenant relationships.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source, approach, and secure new F&B brands, operators, and business partners for assigned food court locations.
• Manage the full leasing cycle, including new tenant acquisition, negotiations, renewals, and tenant expansion.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential F&B tenants across the assigned territories.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing tenants to encourage retention and portfolio expansion.
• Lead rental and lease negotiations, including commercial terms, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
• Drive occupancy, rental revenue, and overall commercial performance across the assigned portfolio.
• Evaluate potential tenants, including reviewing their business and financial background before onboarding.
• Work closely with the Operations team to coordinate new tenant onboarding and outlet setup.
• Monitor tenant performance and proactively address renewal or underperformance concerns.
• Conduct competitor analysis and monitor F&B market trends to identify potential brands and commercial opportunities.
• Achieve assigned revenue and leasing targets, with a focus on portfolio growth.
