Job summary

Kampung Gym Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own and optimize the day-to-day running of all gym outlets.

You will lead three core pillars—Customer Support, Facilities & Equipment Maintenance, and Cleaning—across branches from the Head Office, ensuring brand standards and 100% uptime. You will implement strict hygiene SOPs, oversee 24/7 incident responses, manage rosters and KPI tracking, and drive safety compliance while supporting the growth of a fast-expanding gym

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of operational management experience in gyms, hospitality, retail, or facilities.
• Proven track record leading operational teams (CS, technicians, cleaners).
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and crisis-management skills.
• Basic computer skills including Google Sheets and Google Drive; good email communication.
• Own transport and valid driving license for audits.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
• Medical coverage and career progression in a fast-growing gym chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for current and future Kampung Gym branches from the Head Office; conduct daily site audits to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant with brand standards.
• Oversee 24/7 maintenance, emergency response, CCTV monitoring, and vendor management to ensure seamless operations across all branches.
• Lead the Customer Service team handling member inquiries, door access support, membership requests (freezes, cancellations), and high-priority escalations.
• Supervise on-site and mobile cleaning staff; establish cleaning SOPs, conduct hygiene audits, and manage supplies and consumables inventory.
• Prepare shift rosters, schedule branch patrols, monitor KPIs, and ensure optimal headcount coverage for Cleaning and Maintenance teams.
• Ensure all branches comply with health, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Act as 24-hour backup and escalation point for after-hours incidents to maintain continuity.
