Job summary

Takahata Precision Moulding Sdn Bhd is seeking a mold maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds. The role involves inspecting molds for wear and defects, carrying out cleaning and minor repairs, and supporting mold setup and testing to ensure readiness for production.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of mold maintenance experience, knowledge of mold components, and basic troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of mold maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of mold components and maintenance techniques.
• Able to use basic hand tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read technical drawings (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on injection molds.
• Inspect molds for wear, damage, leakage, and defects.
• Carry out mold cleaning, polishing, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Replace worn or damaged mold components.
• Support mold setup, testing, and trial runs after maintenance.
• Maintain mold maintenance records and spare-part usage.
• Ensure molds are kept in good condition and ready for production.
• Follow safety, 5S, and company procedures at all times.
