Job summary

MALAYSIA STEEL WORKS (KL) BHD is seeking skilled personnel for maintenance and repair of mobile equipment at our Klang, Selangor facilities. The role involves servicing heavy machinery including hydraulic systems, engines, brakes, and steering components, with hands-on work on excavators, bulldozers, and backhoes.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant technical diploma and have 2–3 years of experience in mobile equipment maintenance, with flexibility for shifts, overtime, or weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mobile equipment, heavy machinery, automotive, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Willing to work shift hours, overtime, or on weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Repair mobile equipment including control panels and sensors.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance of engines, brakes, steering systems and other components.
• Handle mobile equipment such as excavators, bulldozers and backhoes.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Reporting for maintenance and workshop documents and ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job description

Repair mobile equipment, including control panels and sensors.

Carry out mechanical maintenance, including repair of engines, brakes, steering systems, and other components

Handle mobile equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and backhoe

Respond to urgent equipment breakdowns and complete repairs safely and efficiently

Able to do reporting for maintenance and workshop documents and ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

Certificate/Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or related field

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mobile equipment, heavy machinery, automotive, or industrial equipment maintenance will be an added advantage

Willing to work shift hours, overtime, or on weekends when required

Preferred skills:

Candidate must be willing to work at Bukit Raja, Klang
