Job summary

Accenture Southeast Asia is seeking a Senior Document Controller in Kuala Lumpur to manage and maintain all controlled documentation for mining projects, ensuring accuracy, versioning, and proper distribution across teams and clients.

You will work with EDMS tools such as InEight, Aconex and SharePoint, enforce metadata standards, and provide training and dashboards on document status.

Qualifications

• The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in document control, preferably in mining, construction, or engineering.
• Hands-on with multiple EDMS tools listed above and others in use.
• Strong understanding of document numbering, revision control, and metadata structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ISO 9001 and records management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain document control procedures for mining projects in compliance with standards.
• Manage receipt, review, registration, and distribution of project documentation including drawings and reports.
• Maintain version control and ensure document integrity across systems.
• Upload, track, and manage documentation through EDMS platforms (InEight, Aconex, SharePoint, TeamBinder, ProjectWise, Documentum).
• Maintain a centralized document register and ensure stakeholders have access to latest revisions.
• Coordinate document reviews and approvals with internal teams, contractors, and clients to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure metadata standards and naming conventions are followed.
• Archive project documentation according to records management policies and provide training on EDMS usage.
• Generate reports and dashboards on document status and compliance metrics; support audits and information handover.
