Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an MES Specialist to support and enhance the Manufacturing Execution System across a high-tech production environment in Malaysia. You will work with JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET to optimise shop floor processes and drive continuous improvement.

In this permanent role, you will gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with cross-functional IT and operations teams, and provide user training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of MES and ERP

Qualifications

Min. 5 years of MES/manufacturing IT support and development experience.
Hands-on JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET experience.
Strong understanding of MES, production workflows, SFC and ERP systems.
Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues.
Excellent communication and documentation when working with business users.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain MES, Shop Floor Control and related manufacturing applications.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate into IT solutions.
Develop and enhance system functionalities using JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and productivity.
Provide user training, documentation, and system guidance.
Participate in IT projects, driving continuous improvements in manufacturing.
