Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd seeks a MES Requirements Engineer to support manufacturing plant software implementation in Serendah, Selangor. You will ensure end-to-end software aligns with business workflows and manage requirements through design, testing, release, and maintenance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in computer-related disciplines, 3+ years of experience with large-scale production systems, proficiency in SQL and C#, and familiarity with Axure for design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer-related disciplines; CET-4. Candidates with extensive working experience and strong competencies may be considered with a college diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of large-scale production systems, OR at least 1 year of system design experience.
• Proficient in SQL CRUD operations and basic table design. Familiar with C# programming. Candidates with strong business knowledge and programming skills are preferred.
• Skilled in using design tools such as Axure.
• Strong hands-on experience in software and system setup.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation and maintenance of production-related systems, covering modules for upstream and downstream processes, document management systems, equipment, quality and more.
• Liaise with business departments to collect and consolidate requirements in the production domain. Propose solutions on appropriate platforms, and lead the full lifecycle of requirements and tasks including creation, review, testing, release and subsequent maintenance.
• Develop operation manuals for production-related systems and provide training to key users.
• Build system capabilities for new processes and new platforms, including system design, verification, pull-line network, server-related design, deliver planning documents and follow up implementation.
• Conduct regular backend system checks, plan data archiving, and coordinate overall planning for new factories and new sites.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily operation and maintenance of production-related systems, covering modules for upstream and downstream processes, document management systems, equipment, quality and more. Ensure 24/7 system stability, timely troubleshooting and response to user inquiries.
2. Liaise with business departments to collect and consolidate requirements in the production domain. Propose solutions on appropriate platforms, and lead the full lifecycle of requirements and tasks including creation, review, testing, release and subsequent maintenance.
3. Develop operation manuals for production-related systems and provide training to key users.
