Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an MES Specialist to support and enhance the Manufacturing Execution System across a high-tech production environment in Malaysia. You will work with JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET to optimise shop floor processes and drive continuous improvement.

In this permanent role, you will gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with cross-functional IT and operations teams, and provide user training and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of MES and ERP

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of MES/manufacturing IT support and development experience.
• Hands-on JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET experience.
• Strong understanding of MES, production workflows, SFC and ERP systems.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation when working with business users.

Profile

A successful MES Specialist should have:

• * Min. 5 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or IT application support and development within a manufacturing environment
• * Hands-on experience with JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET technologies
• * Strong understanding of MES processes, production workflows, Shop Floor Control (SFC), and ERP systems
• * Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues and deliver effective solutions
• * Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work closely with business users and cross-functional IT teams
• * Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical system enhancements

Job Offer
