Job summary

Exentec Services Malaysia is seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor to support and supervise MEP works related to semiconductor equipment/tool installations. The role requires strong on-site coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and process utilities in cleanroom environments.

You will oversee day-to-day installation, ensure compliance with drawings and client standards, manage safety, coordinate across trades, and support tool move-in, testing and handover to manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Certifications in HVAC or electrical systems are a plus.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA/NIOSH preferred.
• Hands-on MEP/tool hook-up experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day MEP installation activities for semiconductor tool installation projects.
• Coordinate installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process utility, and building services works.
• Supervise utility hook-up works from facility distribution points to semiconductor tools/equipment.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and client standards.
• Coordinate installation activities across multiple MEP trades to prevent clashes and delays.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, tools, and work fronts for efficient site execution.
• Conduct daily site inspections and monitor workmanship and installation quality.
• Coordinate equipment/tool installation interfaces with mechanical, electrical, process, facilities, and equipment teams.
• Support tool move-in, setting, alignment, hook-up, testing, and handover activities.
• Ensure tool installations do not compromise cleanroom conditions or facility operations.
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, isolation, and reinstatement per approved procedures.
