Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an MEP Engineer to lead on-site supervision of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems in Kulai, Johor, ensuring construction aligns with drawings and specifications.

You will coordinate with consultants, contractors and project teams, review submissions, monitor progress and quality, and prepare site reports. Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safety and timely handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–3 years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate MEP works on-site, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related building services.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
