Job summary

MYFutureJobs in Malaysia is assisting a leading Fire Fighting Services (M&E/Plumbing) company to hire a Project Engineer for its Johor Bahru site. You will coordinate with main contractors, clients, consultants and authorities to drive project progress.

The role requires diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, ability to read drawings, and hands-on site supervision. Travel to outstation and strong MS Project/Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Good design & installation knowledge of M&E - Fire Fighting and Plumbing services.
• Able to read technical drawings.
• Prior experience in site supervision.
• Willing to travel outstation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project & Microsoft Office.
• Able to start immediately.
• Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-1pm.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot site issues and coordinate with main contractors, clients, consultants & local authorities.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, implementation & completion of project activities.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractor work progress.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate defect rectification with the service department.
• Report weekly to superiors on site quality, progress & cost control.
• Liaise with the project team and carry out site quality checklists.
• Prepare project reports and documentation for meetings and updates.
