Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd in Pulau Pinang invites a Mechatronics Engineer to join our automation team. You will design, develop, and maintain advanced mechatronic systems for our logistics operations, including sensors, actuators, and control systems.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of hands-on experience, plus PLC/HMI/SCADA proficiency and skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/LabVIEW. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of design, development, and maintenance of mechatronic systems.
Proficient in PLC, HMI and SCADA programming and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good communication and teamwork.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and LabVIEW; valid driver’s license; ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems and control architectures.
Troubleshoot and analyse existing systems to identify failures and implement fixes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customised automation solutions.
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.
Document specifications, procedures and best practices; provide technical support and training.
