Job summary

SFP Tech Holdings Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, implement, and improve automation systems for production environments.

You will work on PLC and HMI programming, sensor and pneumatic integration, and on-site installation, commissioning and validation with service teams to ensure equipment meets specifications. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.
• 3–4 years in industrial automation or equipment engineering.
• Hands-on with PLC, HMI, sensors, pneumatics, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement customized automation systems per production needs.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMI systems, and machine controls.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, testing, and validation on site.
• Diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and apply corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Maintenance to improve performance.
