Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance in the Kuantan area. You will troubleshoot equipment, carry out inspections, and implement corrective actions to keep production lines running smoothly.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in mechanical fields, 1–3 years' experience, and the ability to read drawings and manuals. You will work at MCKIP 3, in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in machinery maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• The person must be able to work in MCKIP 3, Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance activities in the assigned area to ensure equipment operates normally and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns, including sudden and major failures, within the assigned area.
• Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring of machinery and equipment.
• Implement corrective and preventive maintenance actions as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer.
• Carry out mechanical repairs, adjustments, and improvements to machinery and equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance activities performed during shifts to ensure effectiveness and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to the established maintenance schedule and report inspection findings.
• Provide technical support and maintenance guidance following equipment breakdowns, including quality-related issues.
• Perform equipment servicing and maintenance work in accordance with approved maintenance plans and procedures.
• Ensure repaired equipment is properly tested, cleaned, and restored to its original operating condition upon completion of maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
• Comply with company safety regulations, housekeeping requirements, and operational procedures.
• Perform any other duties or special assignments as directed by management.
