Job summary

Widetech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a skilled automation technician to read schematic drawings, design PLC ladder diagrams, and monitor production equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure traceability of all job orders.

You will develop Machine Operation Procedures and Safety Guidelines, train machine operators, and drive continuous improvement of machine capability while prioritising ISO9000 compliance and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or SPMV with mechanical or electronic background.
• 2–3 years' hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in automation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

About you

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or SPMV with technical qualification (Mechanical or Electronic background) or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience and hands‑on knowledge in manufacturing environment, especially in automation industry
• Understanding of mechanical and electronics terms
• Knowledge of Pneumatic and hydraulic systems (advantageous)
