VTech Communications (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineer (Fresh graduate) to apply mechanical engineering and mechatronics knowledge to support product development and engineering activities. You will communicate with customers regarding drawings, specifications, and vendor manufacturing processes.

You will review engineering drawings, coordinate with vendors to ensure conformance to specs, and maintain BOM/ECN records in SAP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; relevant experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and product specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Apply mechanical engineering and mechatronics knowledge to support product development and engineering activities.
• Communicate with customers regarding drawings, product specifications, and vendor manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and submit sample parts, technical data, and documentation to customers for evaluation and approval.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specs to ensure vendors meet requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure conformance to product specs, quality standards, and process requirements.
• Participate in technical discussions with customers and vendors in English; Chinese is an added advantage.
• Follow up on DFM requirements and drive manufacturability improvements.
• Maintain BOM and ECN records in SAP with revision control.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve technical issues.

Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineer (Fresh graduate)

Apply mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or related technical knowledge to support product development and engineering activities.

Communicate with customers regarding engineering drawings, product specifications, technical requirements, and vendor manufacturing processes.

Prepare and submit sample parts, technical data, and relevant documentation to customers for evaluation and final approval.

Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure vendors comply with customer requirements and established manufacturing processes.

Coordinate and communicate closely with vendors to ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and process requirements.

Participate in technical discussions with customers and vendors in English. Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.

Follow up on customer Design for Manufacturing (DFM) requirements and coordinate improvement activities to enhance manufacturability, production efficiency, and product quality.

Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) records in SAP to ensure data accuracy and proper revision control.

Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure engineering requirements are implemented accordingly.

Monitor engineering changes and follow up on sample validation, customer approval, and implementation status to ensure timely completion.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

A. Qualification Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

B. Experience Required

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, vendor management, or manufacturing processes is an added advantage.

C. Skills Required

Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings and product specifications.

Good communication and coordination skills when dealing with customers, vendors, and internal departments.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of SAP, BOM management, and ECN control is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
