Job summary

Contacthings Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom automation machines and precision mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and have proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

You will oversee design activities, support machine assembly, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The role offers opportunities for fresh graduates and provides an environment for fast-paced problem-solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of custom automation machines and precision mechanical systems from concept to final release.
• Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and BOMs using CAD software in accordance with engineering standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection to ensure robust and reliable designs.
• Oversee mechanical design activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and project timelines.
• Support machine assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure successful system integration and performance.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and customers on technical requirements and fabrication matters.
• Ensure all designs comply with customer specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or any related discipline.
