Job summary

Exis Tech Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join our team. You will liaise with clients on improvement requirements for equipment and analyze hardware issues reported by after-sales teams.

You will coordinate hardware issues during manufacturing and debugging, and develop design rules and troubleshooting manuals from client feedback and solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Design & Automation, Refrigeration & Heat Transfer, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in heat transfer and refrigeration equipment design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D design and mechanical drafting.

Responsibilities

Job description

Liaise with clients on technical improvement requirements and solutions related to the mechanical aspects of equipment.

Analyze hardware issues reported by the after-sales technical department and identify root causes.

Coordinate and handle hardware issues arising during the manufacturing and debugging process in the workshop.

Develop design rules, troubleshooting manuals, and other technical documentation based on client feedback and solution development.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Mechanical Design & Automation, Refrigeration & Heat Transfer, or related fields.

At least 2 years of experience in heat transfer and refrigeration equipment design.

Knowledge of thermocouples, various heat dissipation methods, and heat sink manufacturing processes, with a basic understanding of heat transfer and refrigeration principles.

Proficient in using SolidWorks for 3D design and mechanical drafting.

Familiar with commonly used thermal conductive and thermal insulating materials.

Good solution evaluation and troubleshooting skills.

Able to work under pressure, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Willing to travel as required, including short- to medium-term business trips.

Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage (for communication with China).
