Job summary

DEC Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking an Mechanical Engineer with 2–5 years in M&E consulting to support project planning and design. You will prepare budgets, perform technical calculations, and manage project implementation from proposal to handover.

Fresh graduates are welcome as training is provided; autoCAD is a must, with knowledge of Revit a plus. A team spirit and own transport are desirable for site coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or accredited equivalent.
• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering also acceptable.
• 2–5 years in M&E consulting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects, conduct feasibility studies and develop conceptual proposals.
• Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
• Compute technical calculations for engineering design.
• Manage project implementation and coordination.
• Review contractors’ proposals, shop drawings and details.
• Verify progress claims and oversee testing and commissioning.
