TTES (Northern) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Butterworth, Penang.

This full-time role involves designing, installing, servicing and coordinating projects for overhead cranes, hoists and material handling equipment, with both office and site-based work. You will gain practical engineering and project management experience while supporting customers and colleagues on-site and in the workshop, with opportunities for career development and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Experience in machinery, equipment, fabrication, crane, hoist or material handling industry will be an advantage.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and hold a valid Malaysian driving licence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in crane, hoist and material handling equipment projects.
• Perform basic mechanical calculations and assist with technical requirements.
• Conduct site visits, measurements and inspections.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, technicians and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing quotations, material costing and project documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to requirements.
• Provide technical support to the service and project team.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and equipment-related issues.
• Prepare technical reports and other project documentation.
• Perform other engineering duties assigned by management.
