Job summary

Favelle Favco Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer to design, analyze and document crane systems. You will review calculations, drawings and specifications, and ensure projects meet client specs, timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, ECN/VDRL documentation and providing mechanical support across departments. The role reports to the Mechanical Section Head / Engineering Manager in the Engineering Department and welcomes fresh graduates with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field with strong academics.
• CGPA 3.0 minimum preferred.
• 1-2 years of working experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Create and review designs, calculations, drawings and specifications to meet client needs.
• Prepare drawing layouts and analyze designs; coordinate to ensure timely cranes delivery and budget.
• Perform feasibility studies and report on new design concepts or products.
• Provide mechanical technical support to other departments as needed.
• Prepare Vendor Data Requirement List (VDRL) and ECN documentation for conformance.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and Production to identify root causes and implement solutions.

• Create and review designs, calculations, drawings, specification and etc, involving existing and new technology and application that meets client’s specification and performance requirements.
• Prepare drawing layouts and analyze designs. Participate in planning, scheduling and work closely with other project team members to ensure cranes delivered on time and within its budget.
• Perform feasibility study and report when introducing new design concept/ products into existing system.
• Provide technical support to other department on mechanical related issues.
• Assist to prepare documentations in Vendor Data Requirement List (VDRL), Engineering Change Notice (ECN) to ensure conformance to client’s specification and procedures related to engineering activities.
• Work closely with QA/QC and Production Dept to establish root-cause and develop solution for problems arising from design to testing of cranes.
• The successful candidate will be based in the Engineering Department and report to the Mechanical Section Head / Asst. Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• A recognized Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering Degree or related fields with outstanding academic credentials (CGPA 3.0 min) are preferred.
• 1-2 of years working experience.
• Possess good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills in English.
