Job summary

TTLIM Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Technician in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This full-time role covers installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems for material handling equipment.

You will assemble control boxes, perform preventive maintenance and repairs on cranes, hoists, and related gear, and document all work while collaborating with the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical certification or diploma or wireman/chargeman certification preferred
At least SPM qualification with credit in English and Maths
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

Responsibilities

Assemble control box for material handling equipment
Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs for material handling equipment (e.g., cranes, hoists, dock levels)
Perform routine maintenance on material handling equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to minimise downtime
Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical components and wiring for material handling equipment
Maintain detailed records of all work performed
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth electrical operation
Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices
