Job summary

A Mechanical Engineer is invited to join a confectionery manufacturing team in Shah Alam to help with preventive maintenance of chocolate lines and a new warehouse project. Fresh graduates are welcome and the role includes collaboration with maintenance, manufacturing and project teams to ensure equipment reliability and project success.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, with basic CAD/SAP knowledge and strong problem-solving; proficiency in Word and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive maintenance of chocolate manufacturing lines.
• Prepare weekly preventive maintenance plans for chocolate lines.
• Coordinate spare parts preparation and support breakdown management.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure maintenance activities are executed.
• Identify opportunities for equipment improvement and process efficiency.
• Support the construction and setup of a new warehouse.
• Review project specifications for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
• Monitor PM and project CAPEX and support monthly forecasts.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with electrical, software and other engineering teams on multidisciplinary projects.
