Job summary

IntelliPro in Banting, Selangor, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering projects at our manufacturing facility.

You will plan maintenance, coordinate across departments, prepare drawings, and develop SOPs, with on-the-job training for fresh graduates and a 12-hour shift schedule including nights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and technical troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates welcome; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate engineering projects with the maintenance, production, compounding and chlorination teams.
• Prepare technical drawings, arrange material purchases and coordinate project requirements.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment breakdowns and prepare maintenance reports.
• Liaise with suppliers on machine design, servicing and technical support.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
