Job summary

IRCare Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of HYiROX in Malaysia, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in Penang.

You will concept, design, test and prototype new hydrogen-based medical solutions from concept to production, working with engineers and suppliers. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, enjoy hands-on building, testing and documentation, and are comfortable working independently or in teams.

• Strong interest in R&D, product development and innovative technologies.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in R&D are encouraged to apply.

At HYiROX, you won't just be working on drawings. You'll be part of the R&D process - from concept and design to prototyping, testing and production - while working on innovative hydrogen-based technologies and solutions for the medical and healthcare industry.

What You’ll Do

Conceptualise, design, test and prototype new products and solutions.

Prepare product designs, engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Identify and resolve design challenges related to quality, performance, efficiency and cost.

Recommend suitable components and materials for product development.

Conduct product testing and performance analysis.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers, including First Article (FA) approval.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Strong interest in R&D, product development and innovative technologies.

Familiar with mechanical design and CAD software; SolidWorks would be an advantage.

Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on, willing to learn and comfortable working independently as well as in a team.

Knowledge of hydraulics or pneumatics would be an added advantage.

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in R&D are encouraged to apply!
