Ray Tech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Mechanical R&D Engineer to design, develop, and test innovative X-ray equipment and related processes, based in Kuala Lumpur and onsite.

You will own the mechanical design lifecycle from concept through BOM and documentation, collaborate with Product and Sales, and provide hands-on engineering support during assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of non-standard equipment design experience in 3C, new energy or related industries.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience and ability to independently develop designs.
• Strong integrity, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Based in Kuala Lumpur and fully onsite.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and test mechanical aspects of X-ray equipment projects, including BOM preparation.
• Identify and resolve mechanical/technical issues; perform design reviews and standardization.
• Maintain mechanical design documentation, control and archiving; support certification activities.
• Provide technical support during assembly, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams early in projects to deliver technical solutions and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Department Head.

As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing new products and processes that drive our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the mechanical R&D design of X-ray equipment projects, including mechanical design, engineering drawings, and preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Identify and resolve mechanical and technical issues arising during project development and engineering implementation, and perform design review, verification, and standardization of mechanical designs prepared by other team members.
• Prepare, review, organize, update, and maintain mechanical design documentation and technical deliverables, ensuring proper document control and archiving. Support R&D project certification and acceptance activities.
• Provide technical support throughout equipment assembly, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure the equipment meets design and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams during the early stages of projects to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions, mechanical design proposals, and relevant technical documentation.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or Department Head

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience of non-standard equipment design experience in 3C, new energy and other related industries
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, mechanical design methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Pro-E, AutoCAD, CAXA, or other relevant CAD software.
• Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their working principles.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience is essential, with proven ability to independently develop mechanical designs and engineering solutions.
• Strong integrity, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, rigorous, and committed to quality, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Position based in Kuala Lumpur. Fully onsite.
