Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in R&D with hands-on design, testing and verification.
• Proven ability to plan and evaluate POC testing for mechanical design and validation.
• Ability to mentor and provide design guidance to the R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new products from concept to commercialization.
• Develop mechanical designs and perform tolerance analysis and risk assessments.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of new products and product enhancements, from concept generation, feasibility assessment, and proof-of-concept validation through detailed design, verification, and commercialization.
• Develop mechanical designs and engineering solutions by applying engineering principles, performing design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, risk assessments, and design optimization to meet product and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute product testing and verification activities, including defining test methods, developing test protocols, building prototypes, setting up laboratory equipment, analyzing test results, and preparing technical reports with recommendations.
• Conduct technical investigations and root cause analysis for product-related issues, identify corrective and preventive actions, and drive design improvements to enhance product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and quality.
• Perform competitor benchmarking, technology research, and innovation activities to identify emerging technologies, evaluate design concepts, and recommend opportunities for future product development and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and design guidance to the R&D team, while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders, external suppliers, research institutions, and universities to support product development and research initiatives.

What you will bring to the team :

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D), with hands‑on involvement in new product design, testing and verification, and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Proven experience in planning, conducting, and evaluating proof‑of‑concept (POC) testing related to mechanical design and product performance validation.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and design support to the R&D team on matters related to product development and design engineering.
