ALL BE CONNECT SDN. BHD. in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time role at our office.

You will design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and QA to ensure quality and innovation across diverse projects. The position requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of design, thermodynamics and fluids.
• Familiar with industry standards and codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS/MATLAB).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software and engineering principles.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support project planning and decision-making.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review and analyse technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Maintain detailed engineering documentation and project records.
• Support the manufacturing and installation phases by providing technical guidance and resolving on-site challenges.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our office in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse mechanical engineering projects, contributing your expertise to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. You will play a vital role in our engineering team, working on projects that span various sectors and applications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation in all deliverables.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and technical codes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all deliverables
• Preferred: 2-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design or a related field
• Preferred: Experience with simulation software such as ANSYS or MATLAB
• Preferred: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties
