PLB-KH BINA SDN. BHD. seeks a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to supervise and coordinate M&E works at construction sites in Penang. You will liaise with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve technical issues.
Responsibilities include reviewing M&E drawings and specs, coordinating with architectural/structural teams, monitoring progress and safety, and coordinating testing, commissioning and handover of installations.
Coordinate and monitor M&E works at construction sites.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Review M&E drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
Coordinate M&E works with architectural and structural works to avoid clashes and delays.
Monitor site progress, quality and compliance with project specifications.
Attend site meetings and coordinate resolution of technical and site issues.
Assist in preparing project reports, documentation and progress updates.
Ensure M&E works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and project schedules.
Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of M&E installations.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in high-rise building projects.
